Educational support classes:

  • Specialized classes for children aged between 6 and 15 who have lost 1-3 years of education. These classes help fill the educational vacuum that has emerged and help to reintegrate them into the formal education program. Caritas organizes Intensive education for children aged 6-12 years who are enrolled in public schools (formal education) but there are fears of dropping out of schools due to the difficulty of the curriculum compared to the Syrian curriculum. These classes strengthen them academically and prevent them from dropping out.
  • Preschool / preschool: Classes for children aged 4-5 years to provide them with a healthy learning environment. Caritas finds safe places to serve as a healing for the consequences of war that affected their natural perception and emotional development and prepare them to attend school.
  • Life and training skills for young people: Preparation for special courses for adolescents aged 14-18 years, especially those who have lost more than 3 years of study, where they study English and computer as well as psychological counseling and awareness raising sessions on topics of age and life.
  • Literacy courses and the development of the academic efficiency of the parents: to improve the educational environment for students: special courses for parents, the main objective of which is to improve the educational environment at home. The courses combine classes, psychological counseling and awareness-raising sessions to help them receive skills on how to deal with children in times of crisis.
